Sustainable Housing
The assignment was to assess the possibilities that how we would like to live in future. We had to select a topic which will be based on the same theme and with a strong research backing and logical thinking a proposed solution had to be delivered.
We will visualize housing space in a way that it takes into account the practicality, sustainability and the needs of the humans residing in them.
Densification: Increasing density of people in urban areas. One of the consequences of the growing population of cities, particularly in large, global cities, has been a strong increase in demand for housing. The resulting mismatch between supply and demand has intensified due to inflows of people in cities and rapidly changing demands. The resumed construction hasn't been able to satisfy the demand for housing.
The following renders are created by AI based software and illustrates our idea quite well
We needed some variations with our structures, so we used Midjourney AI that just needs some keywords and it gives you illustrations based on the input.
The results are interesting!
3D Renders of the re-imagined homes were produced and made after keeping in mind the population density of the Slums.
These structures were created using some free 3d assets. They were placed and rendered in blender which turned out to be perfect to visualize the concept.
